We have been having unseasonably cold nights and mornings which is slowing development even though things are very dry and it has been sunny.
We are looking at a sunny and warm weekend with temperatures in the low teens. Next week looks to be bringing rain on several days. Growers who have early developing fields should be preparing to make their first applications next week, if their fields are beyond the 40% F2 stage.
